Spacious room, very clean. Convenient location.

For the price this is a good buy, large rooms in relatively good condition, safe, close to everything location, friendly helpfull staff. Could hear footsteps above, hallways not always clean enough, no elevator, overall worth the price, would stay again. ...read more

I would stay again. The room was quite large and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful.

The location was fine. The only downside to our experience was the sour musty odor that greeted us when we walked through the door. The rooms could probably use a deep clean, as the stiff furniture suggests they've been around for a few decades. Luckily, the nose stops smelling most smells after 5-10 minutes, so it didn't distract us for long. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and all in all we had a nice stay.

The first room I had was very musty, there were ashes in the bathroom sink, I called downstairs and told the front desk and they changed my room right away. The next room was very nice, I was pleased, the only bad part was that I had to walk up a set of steps and down a long hallway to get to my room, I've just had surgery on both feet so that was quite a task with a suitcase in tow. ...read more

The overall stay at the hotel was good. I really enjoyed the room. The hotel needs more work at keeping the ordors down to zero to no smell, especially the first floor. Thank you.

Secluded street, quiet area. Needs updating. No elevator, not handicapped friendly nor non-smoking friendly. Must use steps to access non smoking rooms.

Great room with plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. The staff was great and very friendly. Will go back if I am in Charlotte.

When I first arrived, I found the toilet did not work. They immediately moved us to another room, the only other one left. I found the AC did not work in it. It was a weekend, so they called their maintenance man who doesn't work weekends. He came that late night, fixed the commode and we were moved back into the original room. Aside from the extreme inconvenience of being moved around & not settled into a room for the 1st 2 hours after arrival; the hotel staff was extremely cordial and went out of their way to accommodate me with the problems that existed. ...read more
